Spatula Whittling Workshop - Journey Wild With Joe

À propos de l'événement

Join us for an enjoyable 3.5-hour workshop where you'll delve into the art of spoon carving! Each participant will receive their own pre-shaped spoon blank, ready for you to uncover its potential. You'll master safe and efficient carving techniques using both a straight knife and a curved hook knife to create the bowl of your spoon.

This informal workshop takes place in a tranquil woodland setting, offering a perfect opportunity to slow down and tap into your creative side. 🌳✨ No prior experience is necessary, making this perfect for both beginners and intermediate carvers aged 14 and above. If you're under 18, please come with an adult. However, a supervising adult does not need to book a separate ticket if they're not participating.

What to Expect:

  • Tools Included: Straight Carving Knife, Hook Spoon Knife 🪓
  • Materials Provided: All necessary materials and tools will be supplied.

Important Instructions:

  • The workshop is held outdoors at the Garlic Farm—dress appropriately for the weather! If it rains, we’ll have cover.
  • Please wear closed-toe footwear (no sandals or open-toe shoes).
  • Log stools will be available for seating; feel free to bring your own camping chair if you prefer!
  • Self-catered: Bring your own snacks, refreshments, and lunch, or check out the Garlic Farm Restaurant (booking recommended) or the Allium Café after the workshop.

Meet us outside the Garlic Farm Shop entrance at the end of the car park to kick off the workshop. Arrive on time, as latecomers will not be admitted once we start!
