Spring Picnic Social
Join Kindred Curiosity for a relaxed afternoon of grazing, sharing, and meaningful connection in the open air. This spring, we’re coming together for a potluck-style picnic designed for women of the Asian diaspora to build community through shared nourishment and conversation.
Each guest will bring 1–2 items: cheese, fruit, bread, matcha, snacks, and together, we’ll create a communal spread. The act is simple, but intentional: everyone contributes, everyone belongs.
To create a board together, please sign up for what you plan to bring here:

How are community gatherings different from other Kindred Curiosity events? Community gatherings are Kindred Curiosity’s way of bringing people together—casual, unstructured meetups to connect, share, and support one another. From trying an aerial yoga class to gathering for a picnic or a meetup for small business owners, we’ll be hosting a variety of events to foster community in different ways!
Will I need to pay for this event?
No, this event is free to attend! Instead of a ticket cost, each guest contributes to the experience by bringing something to share.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Since this is an outdoor picnic, we’ll be monitoring the forecast closely. We’ll send a text blast one week in advance to confirm whether the event will proceed based on weather conditions. If needed, we’ll reschedule and share updates in advance so everyone can plan accordingly.
