Join us this summer at one of New York's most iconic venues! We're taking over Hearst Plaza for a delightful morning reading party as part of NYPL's Summer at the Library festival and Lincoln Center's Summer for the City.

Bring your favorite book, play, or musical score, or borrow one specially selected for the occasion by the librarians at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts! 📖✨
Don’t forget your blanket! Seating is limited.

The morning includes:

• Silent reading accompanied by curated music, the beloved Reading Rhythms experience 🎶
• The NYPL Bookmobile on-site for library card sign-ups 📚
• 1-on-1 breakout conversations and engaging group discussions 🤝

This event is free and open to all, on a first-come, first-served basis!

Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to foster social reading experiences. We invite you to bring any book you like and enjoy silent reading periods along with 1-on-1 breakouts and group discussions, connecting over the stories we share.
