Svítání – krása v tónech harfy i hlasů

The band Svítání has been active on the music scene for almost 30 years. It mainly plays its own compositions and poetry set to music, moving in the realm of world music, where it combines influences from South Moravian folk music, acoustic genres, and classical music. The dominant feature is their composed polyphonic singing accompanied by guitars, double bass, and especially the harp. In the past, the ensemble has performed with the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra and the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, among others, and has released 10 albums. Svítání performs regularly in Prague, most recently at a pre-Christmas concert with the Brno Conservatory Orchestra.
