Sydney Founders Pickleball

Join us for a relaxed weekly pickleball session designed for founders to connect, play, and get a little exercise! 🌟

• Format: We will have 2-4 courts booked, and you'll rotate courts and partners. Most participants are beginners, so no need to worry about experience!

• Networking: Grab a coffee afterwards with someone from the group to get to know them better off the court! ☕

• Logistics:

  • Tickets are available via Luma. You can buy for yourself and friends too.
  • All paddles and balls are provided.
  • Showers are available in the carpark of ICC.

• Cancellations:

  • You can cancel within 24 hours of the event for a credit to attend a future session. Just send a WhatsApp message to Tim to cancel.
  • If it’s very wet, we’ll cancel and notify you through Luma and our WhatsApp group.

• Pickleball Basics:

  • Check out this 5-min video for the basic rules and scoring.
  • We’ll use traditional scoring rules with games up to 11 (win by 2 points).

• Beginner Tips:

  • Don’t worry about looking silly; everyone starts somewhere!
  • Remember to announce the score before serving.
  • Get to the kitchen line quickly and follow the two-bounce rule: 'Serve and Stay' and 'Return and Run'.

• General Etiquette:

  • Keep it friendly and fun! After each game, swap partners and courts. If someone is waiting, they get priority to play next.
  • Keep score to help the games flow, and touch paddles with each player after the game (like a handshake).
