Team RIVER Volunteers

Get involved with Team RIVER (Randall’s Island Volunteer Ecological Restorers) and play a vital role in preserving the beauty of Randall’s Island Park! 🌳✨

What We Do:

• Collaborate with the Natural Areas Team twice monthly to maintain and restore our island's natural spaces.
• Join our Horticulture Team every second Wednesday of the month to nurture gardens, green streets, and meadows.
• Assist our Sports Field and Operations Teams to keep the park clean and well-maintained.

Whether you can volunteer frequently or occasionally, your support is welcomed! This opportunity is open to all community members.

Important Info:

• Volunteers must be at least 11 years old.
• Those under 18 need a signed waiver from a legal guardian before starting.
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

A downloadable waiver is available on our website under the Community Volunteers section. Registration is required!
