This unique concert will showcase the incredible talents of five of Seattle’s finest improvisers: the trio The Hegramatics and duo Lotus Lungs, paying tribute to the late Carol J Levin.

🎷 The Hegramatics consists of:

• Amy Denio: An extraordinary musician who improvises with her voice, saxophone, clarinet, and accordion.
• Heather Bentley: A versatile player on cello and viola.
• Greg Campbell: A percussion wizard as well as a French horn and cornet player.

Their music beautifully melds jazz, classical, world, and experimental styles, and they recently recorded an album to honor the beloved Seattle harpist Carol J Levin, which will officially release on June 4th. This concert will celebrate that release!

🎸 Kicking off the evening, Bill Horist and Matt Benham will perform as Lotus Lungs, offering a set of mesmerizing experimental guitar improvisation. Their innovative techniques create captivating soundscapes that set a new standard for improvisation.
