We all feel it - fear of the climate crisis is pervasive, and it’s hard to imagine the future without fatalism and dread.

But what if it doesn't have to be that way? What if we could time travel to the future and discover that we got it all right?

Join us on the Esplanade, where we'll hop into a real, working time machine*and do just that! Together, we'll discover a version of the future that's neither a terrible apocalypse nor a perfect utopia - but rather, a version of the future where we all got together and did the best we could to save the local places and species we love the most.

In times like this, imagining a hopeful climate future isn’t naive - it’s radical.* (powered by our collective imagination)

• 6:00PM - 6:30PM: Casual chatting and meeting new people
• 6:30PM - 7:00PM: Facilitated learning about the Charles River ecosystem
• 7:00PM - 7:30PM: Time travel to the future!
• 7:30PM - 8:00PM: Relax, snack, and connect with your fellow time travelers

🍱 This is a potluck-style event; bring a blanket, bring a friend, bring some of your favorite vegetarian/vegan snacks, and bring nonalcoholic drinks to share! 🍓🌿

And most importantly, leave any cynicism and pessimism at home. It won't serve you on the journey.
