About the Exhibit:

Join us for a unique trade and toilet installation by Ulla Hvejsel, featuring contributions from artist Mie Frederikke Fischer Christensen and ecological sanitation expert Arne Backlund. Curated by liveart.dk, this quirky exhibition opens at (P)KIPI-Konsthall on Lodgatan 4, Malmö.

Feel like you don’t have a pot to piss in? Swing by this exhibition where you’ll find:

• Pee-shirts dyed with ancient techniques using urine
• A newly developed board game designed to spark conversation about our collective issues
• Pee fertilizer developed in collaboration with Arne Backlund
• An ancient urine pregnancy test dating back to ancient Egypt
• The possibility to “exchange currency” by drinking and waiting for the natural transaction process!😉

Our exhibition explores the historical and cultural values of what’s usually flushed away—because pee is more valuable than you think! 📜💧

Events Schedule:

• May 9 from 4–8 PM: Opening Reception 🎉
• May 16 from 1–5 PM: Shop Open for Business 🛒
• May 23 from 1–5 PM: Participate in the "Talking Shit" board game at 3 PM - the winner keeps the pee collected! 🏆
• May 30 from 1–5 PM: Experience Ulla Hvejsel's performance “Let It Go” at 3 PM 🤸
• June 6 from 1–5 PM: Final shop day with a special performance revealing the diverse uses of urine throughout history at 3 PM 🧺
