Urban Bird Walk: Creekside Birds & Early Waterfowl Migration
Join us for a delightful birding experience at Wildwood Park! Nestled along Euclid Creek's northern section, this event will immerse you in a mix of creekside habitats, mature trees, and open areas influenced by the nearby lake. 🎶
What to Expect:
We’ll be on the lookout for a variety of birds such as the Red‑eyed Vireo, Eastern Wood‑Pewee, and Great Crested Flycatcher as we explore the wooded stretches. You might also spot Eastern Kingbird and Common Yellowthroat in the open spaces and by the creek edges. 🐦
The area is teeming with life, so keep your eyes peeled for herons, cormorants, and swallows gliding over the water. With the early waterfowl migration kicking off on Lake Erie, there’s a good chance to see mergansers passing through as well! 🌊
