VISIT TO GROOM'S COTTAGE AN AWARD-WINNING GARDEN IN WATERS UPTON

Join us for a special opening of the exquisite Grooms Cottage Garden, an enchanting ½ acre space in Waters Upton, exclusively for SCNT members!

This award-winning garden, recognized as the BBC Gardeners’ World Gardens of the Year People’s Choice in 2024, features:

• A variety of garden rooms
• Stunning water features and pergolas
• Over 150 varieties of hostas 🌿
• 100 beautiful roses 🌹
• An array of herbaceous borders and exotic plants 🌸

Explore hidden gardens and cozy corners where you can relax and enjoy refreshments, including delicious cakes for sale. You'll also have the chance to meet our dedicated volunteers and learn about the Canal Trust’s initiatives.

This event will not only provide a delightful escape into nature but also support the planting and maintenance efforts at Wappenshall Wharf.

🎟️ Admission: £6 for adults; free for children under 13.

All proceeds from ticket sales and refreshments will benefit the Canal Trust. If you can’t attend this event, remember that the garden will be open on June 27th & 28th and July 11th & 12th under the National Garden Scheme (NGS), with proceeds from those days also supporting the Trust.
