A Lecture on Water Sprites (Anna Prstková, Ladislav Čumba)
He dwells in the depths; on land, he is weak. Sometimes he’ll lend a hand, but it won’t be for free. Ladislav Čumba will give a lecture on the Slavic water sprite in Czech literature and theatre. Anna Prstková will explore how water demons are faring today and what survival strategies they are devising in an age of drying rivers and extreme weather.
