Vystoupily ze stínu: Eva Kmentová

This lecture, part of the series Stepping Out of the Shadows, dedicated to six prominent Czechoslovak female artists, will present Eva Kmentová as one of the most significant sculptors of her generation.

We will focus on her work with the female body, imprints, and drawing, on her gradual artistic independence, and her relationship with Olbram Zoubek. We will follow the path of an artist who built her own unique voice in a complicated personal and professional context. The lecture will be given by art historian Markéta Čejková.
