Who Gets to Decide? — Staged Reading: THE CHILD & APPROPRIATE

You enter as an audience member.

Then the story begins.

Two people describe the same relationship differently.
A memory changes depending on who tells it.
Care starts to look like control.
And before long, you may realize you have already chosen a side.

Join us for an intimate afternoon of two staged readings: THE CHILD and APPROPRIATE, written and directed by Vivian Wang.

Five actors will perform both plays with scripts in hand and minimal staging. You will sit close to the action and watch the stories take shape in real time.

This is not a polished final production.

It is live, unfinished, unpredictable, and open to discovery.

After the readings, you are welcome to stay for an informal conversation with the actors and creative team. Share what surprised you, ask a question, disagree, or simply listen.

No theatre experience is needed. There is no dress code and no pressure to speak.

Come alone, bring a friend, or make it an unusual Sunday afternoon.
