Wild Materials Craft Lab
Join guest artists Chiaki O’Brien and Shea Maze for an exciting evening of hands-on art-making inspired by everyday materials! 🌍✨
Influenced by the resourcefulness of artist Suzanne Jackson, this event allows you to explore how natural elements and found objects can transform into tools for creative expression. Participants will engage in artist-designed activities using recycled supplies, organic materials, and unconventional techniques.
Through guided exploration, discover innovative ways to work with texture, form, and process while reimagining the artistic possibilities of our surroundings. 🌟👩🎨👧
Activities are suitable for all ages and experience levels! Materials will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. No prior registration is needed.
Galleries are open late with free admission on Thursday nights from 5 to 9 pm. Free Thursday Nights are sponsored by the Principal Foundation. Lead support for the Walker’s Learning and Public Programs comes from the Pohlad Family Community Engagement Fund, with additional support from the Patrick and Aimee Butler Family Foundation and Susan and Rob White.
