Okay, real talk: a bunch of us have always kind of wanted to try golf but had no idea where to start. Didn't own clubs. Felt a little weird about showing up to a range full of people who clearly know what they're doing.
So we're just… doing it. Together. Probably badly. And it's going to be really fun.
It's a chill Saturday morning at the range with a couple of patient PGA-level coaches who actually like teaching beginners. You'll learn how to hold a club, take some real swings, and leave knowing way more than you do right now. That's it. No experience, no clubs, no pressure — just show up (and bring a friend if you want).
What you get:
a real (but low-key) beginner lesson with 2 PGA-level coaches
clubs + balls — you don't need to own a single thing
coffee + croissants
a group of girls who are just as clueless as you, in the best way
Who it's for: total beginners. if you've never touched a club, you are exactly who we made this for.
The morning, roughly:
11:30 — Check-in & social (coffee and Arsicault croissants)
12:00 — The basics (grip, stance, etiquette)
12:15 — Guided range practice
12:45 — "What to know before your first real outing"
13:05 — Wrap, photos, group chat invite
13:30 — Optional hangout at the clubhouse for anyone who wants to keep hanging

FAQs:
I've literally never played. Will I be lost? Nope — that's the whole point. Everyone there is a beginner, and we'll have two coaches for twelve of us. There's no "behind" here.
Do I need clubs? No! Clubs and balls are included. Just bring yourself.
What do I wear? Whatever's comfy and easy to move in, plus sneakers. No special golf gear. Bring a layer — SF mornings.
Can I come by myself? Totally, most people are. It's a great way to meet people. You can also bring a friend (they'll grab their own spot).
What if it rains? We'll figure it out — if the weather's truly bad we'll move it or refund you, no stress.
Is there parking? Yep — there's parking right at the Presidio range, so you can drive straight there and walk over to the range. We'll send the exact lot in your reminder.
What if I'm not a total beginner?
Still come! You'll get real group instruction from a PGA-level coach, so there's plenty to sharpen even if you've swung before. And this is just the first of a bunch we're running this summer — including instructor-led sessions out on the actual course, and group trips to play famous courses like Pebble Beach and Half Moon Bay.
