Beat the Sunday Scaries as you engage with nature through history, science, and sensory exploration. This session includes:
- A short talk on Forest Bathing and its benefits 🌱
- Nature exploration using hand lenses 🔍
- Creative exercises to tune into woodland sounds 🎶
- Optional guided visualization and silent Forest Bathing experience 🌌
Who’s Running the Workshop?
This session will be led by certified Forest Bathing Guide and nature enthusiast, Sidney, and is tailored for adults seeking a unique nature connection and a tranquil end to their week. No prior experience needed! 🌼
What to Bring?
- Hand lenses and basic art materials will be provided 🖌️
- Feel free to bring drinks and snacks, though remember, there’s no drinking water on-site 🍵
- Wooden benches are available, but a picnic blanket will make your experience more comfortable while sitting or lying down in the woodland 🌿
Where?
Poole Farm, located in the heart of Plymouth, Devon, has picturesque woodlands that are part of the Plymouth Beaver Project habitat. The area is accessible by car or bus, with limited seating available. Some terrain may be uneven, so if accessibility is a concern, please contact Sidney at ForestBathingSW@gmail.com. A compost toilet will be available for convenience. 🚻
