World Trade Center Stair Climb/1 Mi Walk

Join Us for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb! 🏅

About the Event:
The Stair Climb honors the heroic sacrifices made on September 11, 2001, with 1,980 steps—equivalent to 17 ascents of 120 stairs at the Lake Co. Fairgrounds Grandstand. Are you ready for this challenge? You'll receive 17 pennies, dropping one off after each round completed. When you run out of pennies, your climb is done!

Event Highlights:

• Finisher Medals for the first 200 participants to register!
• Special Discount for Police, Firefighters & EMTs using code 911.

For those preferring not to tackle the stairs, we also offer a 1 Mile Non-timed Walk to honor our 9/11 heroes.
This event supports the purchase of SWAT-T tourniquets to assist Crown Point Fire/Rescue, saving lives of children and pets.

Before the event, each participant will receive the name of a firefighter or police officer who perished on 9/11, allowing you to remember your hero. Feel free to bring their picture! (List updated prior to the event.)
