The Jewish Cemetery in Opava is one of the parts of the city cemetery on Otická Street. During the tour, visitors will learn not only about the fates of the deceased buried here, such as Max Breda, one of the founders of the BredaWeinstein department store, the rabbi of the local Jewish community Abraham Blüh, David Hatschek, the owner of the jute factory, or the founders of Opava liqueurs, but also about the extinct cemeteries in the city and the customs of Judaism.
- Meeting at the main gate of the Municipal Cemetery.
- Estimated tour duration: 90 minutes.
- Buying a ticket for GoOut, at the reception of the Municipal House and possible resale on the spot.
- In case of very bad weather, the tour is cancelled.
