The festival aligns with the spirit of International Mother Language Day (February 21), as proclaimed by UNESCO and recognized in Canadian law through the unanimous passage of Bill S-214, receiving Royal Assent in 2023. This milestone reflects our organization’s dedication following over 25 years of advocacy.
