The International Federation of Funakoshi Shotokan Karate (IFFSK) proudly invites you to this prestigious event taking place at the UKZN Howard College Sports Centre, Durban.
For over four decades, the Funakoshi Cup has represented excellence in Traditional Shotokan Karate, bringing together karateka from all over South Africa to pursue technical mastery, personal growth, and the core values of Karate-Do.
Founded by Hanshi Eric Govender (8th Dan), our organization is committed to preserving the teachings and philosophy of Master Gichin Funakoshi, ensuring that karate remains a lifelong journey filled with discipline, humility, and character.
