About the Exhibition

This exhibition showcases an array of selected works from artists residing, working, or studying within 40 miles of Portales, New Mexico. 🌟 Open to all media and free to enter, this artistic celebration invites creators from diverse backgrounds and experience levels to present their work to the community.

Unlike traditional exhibitions, our juried format involves a professional arts expert who meticulously reviews submitted artworks, selecting pieces based on criteria such as artistic strength, originality, craftsmanship, and overall impact. This format not only supports artists through professional recognition but also fosters artistic growth and expands their audiences.

This year, we're proud to announce that over 100 submissions were received, with 29 works chosen for display. Awards for Best of Show, First Runner Up, and Second Runner Up will also be given to recognize outstanding talent.

Our Esteemed Juror

The exhibition is juried by Rhonda Headley, a proud alumna of Eastern New Mexico University and Senior Graphic Designer of Signage at Meow Wolf. Rhonda is known for her ability to create immersive visual systems that enhance audience experiences.
