AIO-006: AI Maniacs
Tyler Cowen recently used the term "AI Maniacs."
The kind of people who cancel a first date because their Claude Code weekly usage is about to reset and they haven't tokenmaxxed hard enough yet.
Who greet new model releases with more excitement than the birth of their first-born child... who they named "Fable."
Who put cameras around their house so an AI agent can remind them to drink more water.
If you're reading this thinking, "That all sounds perfectly reasonable..."
Welcome to the party, pal.
Join us for another AI Ops — Melbourne Meetup, featuring two talks from fellow AI maniacs building at the frontier of what's possible.
We'll see you there.
Agenda
5:30pm - 6:00pm: Doors open to our AI-pilled space at the Stile offices.
6:00pm - 6:45pm: Meet and chat with fellow AI optimists (designers, developers, marketers, etc) over food and drinks while listening to gangsta rap.
6:45pm - 7:15pm: Talk #1 from Adnan Kassem (Commercial Manager at Kassem Group) on how he uses Hermes, an open-source AI Agent with persistent memory.
7:15pm - 7:30pm: Short break between talks
7:30pm - 8:00pm: Talk #2 from Jake Tracey and Ray Tran (both from Noice) on creating an AI Teammate for website content authoring.
8:00pm - 8:30pm: More time to chat to each other, then you can go home to check on your agents.
