The Alaska Ski for Women is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of community, fun, and skiing!

👩‍❤️‍👩 Event Highlights:

• Friends and Family Ski (Feb 6th): Enjoy a decorated course at your own pace! All genders are welcome to register and ski. Bring your family along!
• Main Event (Feb 7th): Timed events exclusively for girls and women, featuring a lively costume contest and a party wave! Individuals under 12 can join the party wave too. If you're not racing, come volunteer or cheer!

About Our Cause 🤝

Why participate? This event doubles as a FUNdraising opportunity! Proceeds support the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage and local nonprofits dedicated to ending domestic violence.

Event History

Founded in 1997 by remarkable skiers Sally Burkholder and the late Ann Mize, this event aims to empower women and promote their participation in skiing. We cater to all skill levels, ensuring a supportive environment with free ski waxing and clearly marked courses.
