America, UNFINISHED?!

The WaterFire Arts Center proudly presents America, Unfinished?!, an expansive contemporary art exhibition that runs from July 2 to August 30, 2026 in the Main Hall.

This exhibition brings together diverse artists from all over the country to delve into the complexities and contradictions of the American experience. Through immersive installations, large-scale artworks, and thought-provoking interventions, America, Unfinished?! invites you to explore themes of identity, democracy, belonging, memory, justice, and civic life — sparking questions about what America is and what it can still become.

Set in the 15,000-square-foot Main Hall, the exhibition transforms the space into a vibrant arena for dialogue, reflection, and discovery. Rather than providing answers, it encourages visitors to engage with multiple perspectives and reflect on their own roles in shaping America's future.

Admission is free and open to all! Donations are encouraged to support the arts.
