Archaeology for Kids!

Is your child an aspiring archaeologist? Join our one-day workshop tailored for ages 7-13! Here, young history enthusiasts will acquire essential skills in excavation, recording, and object identification. 🌍

🔍 What to Expect:

• Unearth three mock burials under expert supervision (rest assured, they’re not real!)
• Gain hands-on experience with real Anglo-Saxon artifacts!

📅 Event Details:

• Time: 11 AM - 3 PM (with an hour for lunch, which is not provided)
• Location: West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village

👩‍👧‍👦 Ticket Information:

• Each participating child’s ticket is £16, and it comes with one free accompanying adult!
• Additional tickets are available for:
  • Non-participating children: £4.50
  • Additional adults: £7.50 (payable on the day)

❗ Important Information:

• Maximum group size: 8
• The venue is wheelchair friendly; please inform us in advance.
• One parent or guardian must accompany each child and should arrive 15 minutes early.
• Suitable clothing is required as the kids will be digging in the soil!
