Book Discussion: AMANAT: Women’s Writing from Kazakhstan

Info sull'evento

Welcome to our Book Discussion!

Join us as we read and discuss AMANAT: Women’s Writing from Kazakhstan, edited and translated by Zaure Batayeva & Shelley Fairweather-Vega.

Note: Availability of English books at local bookstores and libraries can be somewhat challenging, so start looking for your copy as soon as possible! You can also use a digital (pdf/epub) version of the book. If you have trouble finding it, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or via Instagram DM.

Join our Book Discussion

Together, we'll create an open, inclusive space for sharing experiences with the book—reflections, insights, perspectives, and opinions. All experiences are welcome!

We will split into smaller groups for informal conversations about the book. A discussion guide will be available to help structure and deepen the conversation.

Extra: Since we are reading a collection of short stories, we recommend making notes after each story to aid in our discussion!

  • 15:30-16:30: Book Discussion
