Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon - Atlanta

Join us in Johns Creek for a fast and flat course featuring a 1-mile loop that’s perfect for consistent pacing and record-breaking performances. The full marathon is USATF certified, making it an official Boston Qualifier! 🌟

This event is tailored for serious runners, with hydration stations offering water and electrolyte drinks. You’re even welcome to bring your own personalized aid to ensure you have what you need throughout the race. Many participants find it helpful to have a cheer crew supporting them with fuel and motivation along the way! 🎉

To provide a top-notch experience, this event is intentionally capped at 175 participants. All runners will receive an awesome race shirt and finisher medals. Awards will be distributed in 5-year age groups for both distances.

Important Info for Volunteers: All volunteers for I'm Bound for Boston will earn five (5) free race entries! (Volunteers need to sign up on the volunteer page.)

Timeline:

• August 27: Last Day to Guarantee Shirt & Size
• September 5: Early Packet Pickup, 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the race site
• September 6 - Event Day:
  • 5:30 AM: Race Day Check-in Opens
  • 5:30 AM: Wave 1 Starts
  • 6:00 AM: Wave 2 Starts
  • 6:30 AM: Races Start
  • 10:30 AM: Course Closes
