Building Web-Powered AI Apps Without Code: Base44 & Tavily

Join us at Base44 HQ in NYC for a hands-on workshop focused on building real web applications with AI.
In this session, we will show how to use Base44 to generate functional web apps through text prompts, and how to connect Tavily so those apps can use real-time web research capabilities.
The focus of the evening is building. Participants will create working apps, get support from the Base44 and Tavily teams, and present their projects at the end of the event in a Shark Tank-style showcase. Prizes will be awarded for standout builds.
Who Is This For?
This workshop is designed for anyone interested in practical AI applications, regardless of technical background. It is a welcoming space for professionals in product management, sales, marketing, operations, startups, and anyone looking to learn how to turn an idea into a working AI-powered tool.
No prior coding experience is required. If you can navigate a web browser and write clear instructions, you can participate fully.
What You’ll Learn & Build
We will walk through how to create apps using natural language. You will see how Base44 structures the layout, logic, and database of an application, and how Tavily provides clean, structured web data to power real-time research features.
By the end of the session, you will have built and deployed a simple, functional web app. This could be a personalized research assistant, a live market data tool, a lead intelligence dashboard, a content research assistant, or another tool based on your own idea.
