Each day, Patrick oversees scores of reporters who cover global, national and local news, along with business, lifestyle, health and many more topics.

The Age’s daily news and features output includes print, online, video, and podcasts.

Patrick is a former Editor-in-Chief of The New Daily, World Editor at The Age and Sydney Morning Herald and editor of several country newspapers including the Sunraysia Daily at Mildura. He has worked on magazines in the Middle East and started his journalism career in regional radio. He has also taught journalism at La Trobe University.
