Cactus Jack's Summer Leagues 2026 (Order/Chaos)

Starting Tuesday June 16th we will begin two IFPA sanctioned 8-week pinball leagues. Cost: $1 per League + Coin Drop League #1 - Order - Starting every Tuesday at 7pm. Players will be paired into groups of 3-4 players and play 4 different games. Groups will be determined in the first week by IFPA seeding and Swiss Pairing using Point Average in subsequent weeks.Players will play their first game in order listed on Matchplay with reverse-turn order in subsequent games (last place player gets first pick of order).Groups will be randomly assigned predetermined arena banks consisting of: 1 Spike-System era Stern, 1 90s-era pin, 1- Classic-era pin, and 1 "Other" (Non-Spike-Stern or other modern manufacturer) Players will receive points based on placement in each game using IFPA scoring (7/5/3/1) / (7/4/1)Players lowest 2 scoring weeks including missed weeks will be dropped.Finals – Finals will be one week after the last qualifying week. Top 8 Players – Group Elimination Matchplay – 4 games/Round – One game will be from each qualifying era. Top Seed in Each Group will pick games for Two Categories of their choice. 2nd highest seed will pick one game from either remaining category of their choice. The game from the remaining category will be random.League # 2 - Chaos - Starting every Tuesday around 8-8:30pm (as League 1 games conclude). Players will be paired into groups of 3-4 players and play 4 games. Groups will be randomly selected. Player order will be determined randomly.Arenas will be randomly selected from almost all available games. Since there are no restrictions on arena selection is is possible for group to play games multiple times a week. Players will receive points based on placement in each game using IFPA scoring (7/5/3/1) / (7/4/1)Players lowest 2 scoring weeks including missed weeks will be dropped.Finals - Top 50% rounded down will advance to Finals. Finals will take place two weeks after the 8th qualifying week. Finals format will be Pace Matchplay Elimination. Games will be randomly selected each round. The Top seed in each group will have the option to Veto (reroll a game) once per round. Games will be redrawn if the same game is already assigned.All players must sign in and sign-in assumes participation in both leagues. Players have the option to play in either or both leagues. Players choosing to play in League 1 and not League 2 should notify the tournament director before 8:00pm. Players playing in League 2 and not League 1 should arrive before 8:00pm and notify the tournament director they wish to participate in League 2.
