Join ASF Sweden for the exciting Stage A of the Challenging Practice Course this spring in the vibrant city of Stockholm! 🏙️
Challenging Practice is an innovative independent-learning program aimed at empowering professionals in the built environment to tackle the pressing issues of inclusive and sustainable urban development. The course is designed around active and action-based learning principles, focusing on situated knowledge and reflective practices while emphasizing the ethical aspects of engaged learning.
This program comprises three dynamic stages:
- A) Learning in Action
- B) Reflecting in Action
- C) Reflecting on Action
This spring, we’re kicking off with Stage A, a two-day workshop that dives into the essential knowledge needed to work with vulnerable urban groups. Participants will engage in a variety of activities including thoughtful readings and an interactive live seminar. 🌱
Experience scenario-making and role-playing exercises that will immerse you in real urban contexts!
📚 Workshop Details:
- Location: Byrån för Arkitektur & Urbanism (BAU), Gävlegatan 12A (5th Floor), Stockholm
- Entry Requirements: Open to everyone, but prior reading of at least 60% of the Handbook is recommended for maximum engagement.

💵 Course Fees:
- Members: 500 SEK
- Non-members: 1000 SEK
- Students & Unemployed: 300 SEK
Course fee includes lunch and fika and is subsidized by ASF-Sweden.
