Clay Hand Building Workshop

Get your hands dirty in the best way at our hand building Clay Workshop (no pottery wheel required). 🎨 In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the art of shaping, sculpting, and creating with clay using traditional hand-building techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide you step-by-step as you pinch, coil, and slab your way into a one-of-a-kind clay creation.

Whether you're making a mug, planter, bowl, or something totally unique, this workshop is all about slowing down, getting creative, and enjoying the process. Your price includes your project, all supplies, glazing, firing, and the studio space — no sitting fees. No wheel. No pressure. Just clay and creativity. 🌈

How It Works (Two-Visit Process)

Visit #1 – Create: You’ll hand build your clay piece in the studio. Then your masterpiece stays with us for 2–3 weeks to fully dry and go through its first kiln firing.

Visit #2 – Paint: Once it’s ready, we’ll notify you to come back and glaze (paint) your piece with your favorite colors. After glazing, it goes back into the kiln for its final firing. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in 1–2 weeks. 🕒

When you arrive, we will have all the clay and tools ready for you. Come a little early and grab a drink — we offer a great selection of beer, wine, and sodas. 🍷 Feel free to bring your favorite snacks, too. Roll up your sleeves, sink your hands into clay, and let’s make something amazing together!
