About the Workshop:

Join us for Clear Space, Clear Mind, a collaborative wellness workshop hosted by Atlanta Journal Club and UGA Extension. Together, we’ll explore the connection between decluttering and overall well-being while creating space for creativity, mindfulness, and community.

The workshop will begin with a guided presentation on decluttering and how simplifying our physical spaces can positively impact our mental wellness. From there, we’ll transition into a community Craft Supply Swap, where attendees are invited to exchange journaling and creative supplies with one another. It’s a thoughtful way to give unused materials a new home while discovering new-to-you treasures to inspire your next creative project.

We’ll end the experience with a guided journaling session designed to help you reflect on what you’re making room for in this next season of life.

Whether you come with friends or attend on your own, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, encouraging, and a chance to connect with others through creativity and conversation.

What to Bring:

Please bring your own journal and any personalized materials you’d like to incorporate into your journaling practice.

If you’d like to participate in the Craft Supply Swap, you’re encouraged to bring gently used creative materials that no longer serve you but may inspire someone else.

Parking Details:

Free parking is available on-site, and there are plenty of parking spaces for attendees.

When you arrive, face the DeKalb County Tag Office. To the left, you’ll see a University of Georgia Extension sign with a set of black double doors—this is the event entrance.

Please park in any of the spaces directly in front of the University of Georgia Extension sign for the easiest access.

Accessibility: The building is wheelchair and mobility device accessible, with no stairs.

What’s Included in Your $5 Ticket:

Your registration includes admission to the wellness workshop, a guided presentation on decluttering, participation in our community Craft Supply Swap, and a guided journaling session.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the event.

• Limited capacity: Please RSVP only if you’re certain you can attend. If your plans change, notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can accommodate others.

• No-shows will forfeit their ticket due to the limited capacity of the event.

• Registration and payment for this event is processed by Atlanta Journal Club.

• Attendance implies permission to be photographed or recorded, with resulting content potentially used for promotional purposes.
