Clown Picnic and Parade

Do you enjoy fun and frivolity? Joyful jubilation? Gags and gimmicks? Wonder and weirdness? Join us for Canmore’s first Clown Picnic and Parade! 🎪

The Beau Valley Circus has teamed up with Whimsy the Clown to spread the magic of play into the streets. Wear your most joyful outfit and grab a red nose! 🌈 Explore your inner clown with games hosted by Whimsy, including juggling, hula-hooping, and more with an assortment of circus props waiting for you!

This is a participatory event, not just a performance—you are the clown! 🎭 No experience required. Come and be playful in a safe and supportive environment. Light snacks will be provided, and you are welcome to bring food for yourself or to share with others. 🥳

After our picnic, we’ll parade down Canmore’s Mainstreet, surprising and delighting tourists with our vibrant clowns! 🎈

This event is open to all, but children must be accompanied by an adult. In the event of rain, please check our social media for an alternative location!
