Formed in 1982 in Spring Plains, Victoria, spearheaded by founding member and bass player Ross Knight, they have become a staple of the Australian punk scene with their raw energy and down-to-earth vibes. With 10 studio albums under their belt (since their self-titled debut in 1987), including hits that even influenced artists like The Prodigy (who sampled their music on 1997's 'The Fat of the Land' LP) and Nirvana (Nirvana producer Butch Vig proclaimed them an influence on both Nirvana and the Seattle grunge scene of the 1990s), the Cosmic Psychos have been thrilling fans for decades!

There's been a ton of turbulence, beer, highs, lows, more beer and the occasional tour filled with chaos and beer - and somehow, the Cosmic Psychos have not only survived, but thrived through the passing decades as well as all sorts of musical trends and fashions with ease. Most fans will tell you they're simple blokes (you can trust), just making straight-ahead, good-fun, Australian influenced punk rock.
