Join us for Craft in Common, a captivating one-day event dedicated to the art of craft, featuring contributions from esteemed artists and collectors!

Headlining Artists:

  • Robyn Horn: Acclaimed artist and collector, a steadfast advocate for the arts.
  • Elizabeth Brim: A pioneering blacksmith whose sculptural ironwork is redefining the craft world.

  • 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: "Collecting That Matters"
    Engage in a discussion on collecting led by Robyn Horn and Stefanie Kirkland, AMFA’s Windgate Foundation Curator of Contemporary Craft.
  • 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.: Lunch & Demonstrations
    Enjoy lunch while exploring hands-on demonstrations in ceramics, wood, glass, metals, and more at AMFA’s Windgate Art School.
  • 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.: Screening & Conversation
    Watch the documentary "Iron Pearls", featuring Elizabeth Brim, followed by a discussion with Andy Moon, Director of AMFA’s Windgate Art School.
  • 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.: "Craft in Common" Happy Hour
    Wind down with drinks, light bites, and networking. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the exhibition "Material Nature: John and Robyn Horn Collection" and more in the galleries!
