Creeping Bellflower Pull at Berry Woods

Join a dedicated group of volunteers at William Berry Woods to help remove Creeping Bellflower (Campanula rapunculoides), a beautiful yet invasive flower threatening the local ecosystem. This plant is particularly prominent in the southwest corner along Richfield Road, and it disrupts the native plant community that we strive to protect! 🌿

Until a long-term solution is put in place, we need your help to remove flowers before they go to seed. Berry Woods is a serene woodland lying between Bde Maka Ska and Lake Harriet, situated on the northern border of William Berry Park. Don't forget to bring your own gloves and drinking water! 💧

Meeting Point: Gather at the northwest corner of the woods, close to the intersection of Richfield Road and W 39th Street. There is street parking available on Richfield Road.
