Join us for a profound musical experience led by the acclaimed professor Håkan Hardenberger and the Brass Ensemble from Musikhögskolan i Malmö. 🌍💔
In exploring the grey areas between war and peace, this concert will take you on an emotional journey forged by music. Highlighting pieces like Rautavaara's poignant A Requiem in Our Time, inspired by personal loss during the Winter War, and H.K. Gruber’s Demilitarized Zones, where tranquility is depicted amidst a chaotic landscape, each composition serves as a compass through despair and hope.
Other featured works include Turnage’s Set to, Mikkelborg’s Hommage A Meditation, Hearne’s The Four Horsemen, and Broström’s Twilight, a percussion quartet navigating the cusp of light and darkness.
Join us for a unique musical portrayal of humanity's emotional confusion, as we continuously stride between hope and despair.
