DIY Decor Craft Bar Event with Sober Curious Club

Welcome to Studio Abode's DIY Decor Bar! We are happily partnering with Hoboken's Sober Curious Club for this event! Have a creative afternoon/ evening while socializing in our beautiful new studio space! Choose to make ONE of the following cute and trendy crafts for your home during your 1.5 hour studio session:

DRIED PRESSED FLOWER COLLAGE PRINTS

Choose from a variety of beautiful dried pressed flowers and leaves to make 2 collages on 2 pieces of decked-edged paper (5x7 inches). And voila- you have pretty wall art!

FOIL EMBOSSED ORNAMENTS/ MAGNETS

Choose 4 silver or gold foil squares (6x6 inches) to emboss to make ornaments or magnets. Create your own designs or choose from a variety of pre-made designs and shapes to trace. String and magnets will also be provided. This is one of the trendiest crafts of 2026!

PAINTED TAPERED CANDLESTICKS

Choose from a variety of acrylic colors to paint 2 ivory tapered candlesticks (10 inches). These are perfect for your kitchen or dining room!

UP-CYCLED FABRIC MAGNETS

Choose from a variety of up-cycled fabrics (solids and patterned) and buttons to create 4 custom magnets that are round or square (4x4 inches). Spruce up your fridge today!

PAINTED MINI CANVASES

Let your inner Picasso shine and choose from a variety of acrylic colors to paint 2 mini canvases (4x4 inches). These are the cutest additions to your desk or shelves!

This studio session is completely SELF-GUIDED with basic written instructions provided for each craft.

No experienced needed, all materials included, sparkling water and juices will be offered, all crafts will be ready to take home at the end of the workshop.

Please note: This event is for guests ages 18+ and is NOT BYOB.

IMPORTANT EVENT & STUDIO INFORMATION

When our events are not being hosted, this studio space is occasionally shared with a dog portrait photographer. While we always maintain a super clean environment, we recommend keeping this in mind when planning your visit if you have allergies to dogs.

Our building does not have an elevator. We are located on the second floor, one flight of stairs up from the entrance.

Our building (1012 Grand) does not have a private parking lot, so please consider the following options when arriving to Hoboken:

Centerpark Harlow Parking Garage (Next to Trader Joe’s) ~8 min walk

Impark Monroe Center Parking Lot 32 (Attached to 770 House) ~11 min walk

Street parking through the Park Mobile App

NJ Transit 126 Bus from Port Authority that stops at 14th St & Park Ave ~7 min walk

Hoboken PATH station ~ 24 minute walk

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tickets for this workshop are non-refundable. Please make sure to double-check your calendar before purchasing. If you can no longer attend, you are allowed to reschedule to another workshop of the same kind occurring on a future date. Tickets can also be transferred to someone else.
