About Us

Located at Urban Sanctuaries: Pasadena Heritage in Pasadena, CA, we celebrate architectural and craft traditions from our rich history. Founded in 1977, this organization provides workshops, walking tours, and more to document and preserve innovations in the arts. Our gatherings take place in a spacious, well-lit hall, inviting you into a vibrant space of learning and connection. 🌼

Meet Shagho

Shagho, a multidisciplinary design leader, artist, and cultural practitioner, is at the forefront of innovation and community. As the founder of Folk Lounge, she organizes Embroidery Socials across LA, encouraging everyone to bring their unfinished projects, enjoy the serene surroundings, and savor the local blooms.

"Bring the project you haven't finished. Sit in the shade. Let the hours be unhurried. Smell and see what's blooming this season. Feel in good company. Explore the city you call home."
— Shagho, Founder
