Fagbreak

In a South Bermondsey trading estate, Fagbreak explores the lives of four co-workers trapped in a mundane existence. Amidst arguments, laughter, and fights, they confront their dreams and despairs on a dead summer's day. 🌞

As they navigate their fears, hopes, and the reality of their situation, we question how they ended up here and whether they can break free. This new play delves into the intertwining lives of these individuals during a single shift.

Fagbreak is designed for an adult audience and is staged at The Cockpit auditorium. This performance marks its first live debut, after a rehearsed reading at BOLD THEATRE last October, during which it was developed further.

Presented by RatGurl Theatre, founded in 2026 to create compelling narratives based on real stories, the company is spearheaded by co-founders Purnima Rai and Ana João, who crossed paths at Identity Drama School in 2019.
