The concert opens with D’Rivera’s Aires Tropicales — a delightful piece that effortlessly blends classical craftsmanship with vibrant Latin American rhythms. Each of the seven movements, from the infectious Alborada to the playful Contradanza, showcases the unique flair of the wind quintet, filled with humor, charm, and lively energy! 🌟

Following D’Rivera, we dive into one of the greatest chamber music masterpieces: Luigi Boccherini’s Guitar Quintet in D major, G. 448, “Fandango.” This piece embodies elegance and theatrical showmanship. The enthralling final movement, the Fandango, is a rhythmic triumph that has left audiences spellbound for generations! 🎊

The second half pays tribute to Robert Schumann’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 63, a work celebrated for its lyrical beauty and profound emotional depth. Composed in 1847, this trio captures the essence of the Romantic spirit, merging urgency with intimacy and culminating in a finale marked Mit Feuer (“With Fire”), which is sure to leave you captivated! 🔥
