Forest Bathing at Swan Lake
In need of some nature mindfulness? 🌿 Join us for a guided forest bathing walk at the Nature Sanctuary!
Shinrin-Yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, encourages us to engage with the forest through our senses—hearing, sight, touch, taste, and smell. ✨ More than just a stroll in the woods, forest bathing allows us to slow down, focus on our senses, and re-connect with nature.
🌟 Benefits of Being Outdoors:
- Increased immune function
- Enhanced cardiovascular and respiratory health
- Stress relief
📍 Location:
3873 Swan Lake Road, Saanich, BC V8X 3W1, Canada
💵 Cost: $20
As our journey wraps up, enjoy a cup of tea and a light snack in gratitude for Swan Lake and our time in nature. 🍵
⚠️ Please note the walk may involve paths that are not classified as "accessible" in our trail system. For any questions or accommodation requests, feel free to reach out to info@swanlake.bc.ca prior to registering.
