Fort Monroe Star Party

Join us for a FREE Star Party at Fort Monroe, hosted in collaboration with NASA Skywatchers! 📍 Head to the north end of the airstrip, right across from the Paradise Club, near the Colonies RV & Travel Park.

Immerse yourself in the wonders of the night sky as local amateur astronomers showcase their telescopes, providing breathtaking views and informative sky tours. 🌠

Important: This event is weather dependent. Stay updated on any weather-related changes by checking the NASA Skywatchers Facebook page by 3 PM every Friday.

🔒 Parking Guidelines:

• Members with telescopes planning to stay for the entire party can park next to their telescopes in “Telescope Parking”.
• If you’re not staying for the full duration, please park facing the main road in “Telescope Parking” to avoid shining headlights on telescope setups when you leave.
• Visitors should use the tennis court/event parking area.
• Handicap visitors with valid plates may park in the Telescope Parking area but must adhere to the same rules as members.
• Please note: the Paradise Club parking lot is restricted to club members only.
