Fred Love - Live Music

Join us for an electrifying night with Fred Love, a talented cowpunk singer-songwriter and guitarist from Ames, Iowa! 🌾 Raised in a small farming community, Fred's music captures the essence of outlaw country, punk rock, and blues, making for a unique sound that's both heart-wrenching and rebellious.

Fred's performances are a mix of raw, original tracks and reimagined classics from legends like Merle Haggard and Hank Williams. With a mission to revive live music in the rural Midwest, Fred performs at backroad bars, VFW halls, and any spot with a power outlet! 💡

When not performing solo, he collaborates with Jonathan Shuka (drums) and Pat Blair (bass) to create the scorching power trio, Fred Love and the Bakersfield Brawl. Their debut EP, …And Out Come the Cows, launched in October 2024, showcasing their loud and unapologetic cowpunk vibe!
