Green Withens And Blackstone Edge Walk

Join us for an exhilarating walk around the stunning Green Withens Reservoir and onto the scenic Rishworth Moor! 🌧️

🅿️ Meeting Point: Carpark at OL3 5UN, right next to the prominent mast near Junction 22 of the M62. We'll gather at 9:30 AM and hit the trail by 9:45 AM.

🚶‍♂️ About the Walk:

• Distance: Just over 6 miles
• Duration: Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours

This trek includes a beautiful route that takes us around the reservoir, onto the Pennine Way, and up to Blackstone Edge. However, please be advised that this walk features some rough and exposed moorland. ❗

🧥 Essentials: Bring your waterproof boots and attire, as the weather can be unpredictable. Expect rain, sleet, or even snow! Gloves, hats, and enough supplies for around 4 hours are recommended.

👶 Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or carer. Keep in mind, conditions will likely be boggy, cold, and windy. 🐶 Dogs are allowed but should be kept under control.
