Join us for the Hunter Science Festival at Newcastle Museum! 🎉 This FREE event is an amazing day filled with science, entertainment, and fun for all ages!

Get ready for an action-packed schedule featuring notable performances from Fizzics Education, The Bubble Laboratory, The Pretty Amazing Jono, and researchers from HMRI Poo Palace!

• Climb inside a City of Newcastle Garbage truck 🚛 and chat with the driver
• Build and race your own mini solar car with CareerLinks and HISH 🏎️
• Control a combat robot in the robot arena powered by FabLab and Hunter Combat Robotics 🤖
• Experience the HMRI Poo Palace and hold a real shark egg with Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters 🦈
• Plant native seeds with the City of Newcastle's Environmental Biodiversity Team 🌱
• Participate in the new Charge Track Legends science-education video game from Net:Zed 🎮
• Meet the humanoid robot from NUBots and a robot dog from Fizzics Education 🐕
• Build a boat with AiSTEM and test it in the water ⛵
• Use a real radio telescope with Future You 🔭

🍽️ Bring your lunch to picnic on the lawn while enjoying stage performances or grab a sausage sizzle from the Rotary Club of Newcastle Enterprise or one of the famous "poo" cupcakes from KT Bakes Cakes!

All tickets for the HMRI Poo Palace are free! Tickets will be available via a QR code at the museum on the day of the festival. Sessions are limited and only 15 minutes long. Don’t miss out!
