Independent Roots At New Acres: The Neighbourhood Launch

Join us for the official launch of New Acres, a milestone celebration of the makers and retailers who have planted their "Independent Roots" in the heart of Wandsworth.
From delicious eats to hands on experiences including a community planting zone, this is your first look at the 20+ independent brands that are making New Acres London’s most vibrant new destination to shop, eat, and create.
How it works:
Every time you engage (see below), you get a sticker on your personal map! Completing the full collection of stickers from all six categories (Move, Taste, Create, Thrive, Discover, Refresh) earns you an entry into the prize draw for the £250 “Explorer Voucher” Grand Prize. Participants can also qualify for the chance to win one of sixteen £50 rewards by gathering six stickers across any category, while additional runners-up will take home a Deluxe New Acres Tote Bag.

Sophie Tea [DISCOVER]
What’s on: Sophie Tea launches the latest edition of BREWING - a residency programme for emerging and aspiring artists - with an open community art swap.
Offer:

• Bring a piece of your own original art to be exhibited in the gallery for two weeks before swapping it for another original piece. Built on the simple belief that art is for everyone, the swap places beginners and established artists side by side - no price tags, no entry fees, no gatekeeping. Here, anyone can be an artist, and anyone can be a collector.
• Participants can also choose to apply for a two-week residency in the two months following the swap as part of Sophie Tea’s ‘Brewing’ residency programme. Applications are open to artists of all disciplines (you can also apply online), and the residency gives four artists at a time the chance to exhibit their work in the gallery and a free space to create.
