Inventing the enemy - Workshop - Malmö Stadsteater / UCCI UCCI

Join us for a captivating workshop titled Inventing the Enemy, where we delve into the complexities of online radicalization and the formation of the 'enemy' in a performative context.

👩‍🎨 Led by the artistic duo Salvatore Crucitti and Gloria Zeppilli from UCCI UCCI (MA students at Malmö Theatre Academy), this workshop adopts an ethnographic and archival studies approach to explore the darker aspects of online communities.

📝 Expected Activities:

• Creative writing exercises designed to inspire personal and group insights.
• Engage in discussions around the aesthetics of anonymous forums and the mechanics of polarization.
• Explore the role of empathy in navigating these critical themes.

• An open exchange of ideas in a relaxed, creative environment.
• The opportunity to contribute to the future development of a performance piece (your ideas may be used with your explicit consent).
• Everyone interested in artistic practices, game studies, humanities, or social sciences is welcome—no previous experience required, just curiosity!
